Porcelain veneers are used primarily to address problems such as:
- gaps in front teeth
- teeth that are stained or faded
- broken or fractured teeth
- teeth that are slightly crooked
Advantages of porcelain veneer placement:
- no anaesthesia is required
- minimal tooth drilling
- excellent aesthetics
- they do not absorb colourants
Disadvantages of porcelain veneer placement:
- the cost is high
- more than one session is required
